Methodology
- Sources: only four files from the directory,
studios.json,events.json,retreats.jsonandytt.json. Every studio has a public source and a verification month, as described in how we verify studios. Figures are recomputed on every build of the site. - Population: yoga studios with a public source (own website, Instagram, Facebook, Google listing or ClassPass) and activity in the last six months. Pure pilates, barre and Lagree studios, gyms and solo teachers are excluded. This is a directory snapshot, not a census.
- Cities follow the city pages: Rockwell counts with Makati and San Juan with Mandaluyong. Regions: Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and Palawan (shown apart from Luzon).
- Styles come from what each studio publishes; a studio counts once for every style it lists.
- Prices are published, non-member rates in pesos with the source on each studio profile. Medians and ranges are shown only for groups with 4 or more data points. Intro offers and promotions are not counted as drop-ins.
- Class times come from published timetables, bucketed into morning, lunchtime, afternoon and evening. Only studios with a timetable we could read count (n = 61).
- Retreat departures and teacher training intakes count published start dates from October 2026 on. Island groups come from each organiser's stated location.
- No ratings, reviews or visits are used. Dataset date: October 2026 (2026-10).

Questions
How many yoga studios are there in the Philippines?
There is no official count. The YogaPhilippines.com directory lists 177 yoga studios verified active in October 2026, 65 of them in Metro Manila. It counts only studios with a public source and recent activity, so the real number is higher.
Which yoga style is most common in Philippine studios?
Vinyasa is the style most often published, offered by 99 of the 177 studios we list (56%), followed by hatha (50 studios).
How do I cite the State of Yoga report?

Why do some cities have no price figure?
A city gets a median drop-in price only when 4 or more of its studios publish one. Below that, one studio would move the figure too much, so the city is left out rather than shown with a misleading number.
