How to reuse the pose drawings, step-by-step strips, short pose videos and printable charts made by YogaPhilippines.com.

The pose drawings, step strips, pose videos and printable pose charts on YogaPhilippines.com are free to reuse under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0). You can print, share, embed and adapt them, including for paid work, as long as you credit YogaPhilippines.com and link to the page you took them from.

What the licence covers

  • Pose drawings: the line drawing of each pose, as PNG and WebP, 144 images across 69 pose and stretch pages.
  • Step strips: the numbered drawings that move from a start position into the full pose.
  • Pose videos: the 69 short silent videos with one caption per step, and their poster frames.
  • Printable charts: the A4 pose charts, such as the 40-pose A4 chart.

The licence does not cover photographs, page text, the site logo or studio information. Ask through the contact page before reusing those.

How to credit

Put a short credit next to the drawing, chart or video, with a link to the page where you found it. Any of these works:

  • Drawing: YogaPhilippines.com (CC BY 4.0)
  • Tree Pose drawing by YogaPhilippines.com, CC BY 4.0
  • Adapted from a YogaPhilippines.com chart, CC BY 4.0

For a web page, copy this and change the page address to the one you used:

<a href="https://yogaphilippines.com/poses/tree-pose/">Tree Pose drawing by YogaPhilippines.com</a>, <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/">CC BY 4.0</a>

In print or on a slide, the words "Drawing: YogaPhilippines.com" are enough. On social media, credit YogaPhilippines.com in the caption.

Where to find the files

Every pose page with a drawing has a step-by-step section below the instructions, for example Tree Pose, Downward Dog and the warrior poses. Select a drawing or strip to open the full-size PNG. Each file carries its credit, copyright notice and a link to this page in its IPTC and XMP metadata, so the credit travels with the file.

A few conditions

  • Keep the credit and the link with the drawing.
  • Do not suggest that YogaPhilippines.com or any teacher named on the site endorses you or your product.
  • The drawings show the general shape of a pose. They are not medical advice, so keep any safety notes from the original page when you reuse a sequence.

Questions

Can I use the YogaPhilippines.com pose drawings commercially?

Yes. CC BY 4.0 allows commercial use, for example in a paid class handout, a studio website or a printed workbook, as long as the credit and the link stay with the drawing.

Do I need to ask before using a pose drawing or video?

No. The licence already gives permission, so there is nothing to sign or request. Crediting YogaPhilippines.com with a link back to the page you took it from is the only condition.

Can I recolour, crop or translate the drawings?

Yes. You can crop, recolour, resize, translate the captions or combine drawings into your own chart. Say that you changed them, for example "adapted from YogaPhilippines.com".
