ClassPass in the Philippines: a guide for yoga students
ClassPass is a monthly subscription that gives you credits to book classes at partner studios and gyms. In the Philippines it covers a number of Metro Manila and Clark yoga studios. Each class costs a set number of credits, which varies by studio, time and demand, and plan prices change, so check the app before you subscribe.
ClassPass lets you book classes at many different studios with one subscription. Instead of buying a package at each studio, you pay a monthly plan and spend credits on the classes you want. For yoga students in Manila, it is a handy way to try different studios and styles before choosing one to commit to.
How does ClassPass work?
- Pick a plan. Each monthly plan comes with a set number of credits. Plans and their prices vary by country and change from time to time, so check the current options in the app.
- Find a class. Search by location, time, style or studio. Each class shows its credit cost.
- Book with credits. The credits are taken when you book. You get a confirmation, and the studio sees your name on its list.
- Show up and check in. Arrive early for your first visit, because the studio may ask you to sign a waiver.
- Cancel inside the window. Each booking shows a cancellation deadline. Late cancellations and no-shows can cost you the credits or a fee.
ClassPass also lists some gyms, wellness services and online classes, but this guide focuses on yoga.
Why do credit costs change?
ClassPass uses dynamic pricing. The number of credits a class costs depends on the studio, the time of day, the day of the week and how full the class is. A 7 am weekday class and a Saturday morning class at the same studio may cost different amounts. Popular studios and peak slots usually cost more.
Because of this, there is no fixed peso value for a credit. The only way to know what a class really costs you is to divide your plan price by your credits, then multiply by the credits for that class. Our class cost calculator helps you compare that number with a studio’s own drop-in rate or package.
Is ClassPass cheaper than paying the studio directly?
It depends on how you practise.
- ClassPass often suits people who like variety, take classes at several studios, or are new and still exploring styles.
- A studio package or membership often suits people who go to one studio three or more times a week, since direct packages are built for regulars.
- Intro offers at individual studios can beat both for your first few weeks.
Our guide to yoga class prices in Manila collects the published drop-in and package rates for listed studios, so you can compare them with what a class costs you in credits.

What should you know before booking yoga on ClassPass?
- Read the class description. “Hot”, “flow” and “beginner” mean different things at different studios.
- Check the cancellation window on every booking, not just the first one.
- Bring or rent a mat. Some studios lend mats free, others charge. The studio page usually says.
- Tell the teacher you are new, and mention any injuries.
- Watch your renewal date. Use or plan your credits before the cycle resets.

Questions
Why does the same yoga class cost different credits on ClassPass?
ClassPass adjusts credit costs by studio, class time and how many spots are left. Popular evening and weekend slots often cost more credits than quiet midday classes at the same studio. The credit cost is shown on each class before you book.
Do unused ClassPass credits roll over?
ClassPass has let a limited number of unused credits roll over to the next billing cycle, depending on your plan. The rules can change, so check your plan details in the app before the cycle ends rather than assuming credits will carry forward.
Can you use ClassPass for a first class at a studio?
Yes. Many people use it to try several studios before committing to one. Some studios offer their own first-class or intro deals when you book directly, so compare that with the credit cost before booking through the app.
Is every class at a studio available on ClassPass?
Not always. Studios choose which classes and how many spots to release to ClassPass, and some keep workshops, courses or peak slots for direct bookings. If a class you want is missing in the app, check the studio's own schedule.
