How to plan a yoga trip
- Add your places. Choose islands or cities from the list, or tap a quick pick such as Siargao, Cebu or El Nido. Each place shows how many verified studios it has. Tap a chip to remove a place.
- Set your dates. Enter the first and last day of your trip. The plan appears as soon as both are set.
- Read the plan. For each place you get the usual route from Manila, events during your dates, retreats with a published date that overlaps your trip, and studios for drop-in classes.
- Take it with you. Print it (or save it as a PDF from the print dialog), download one calendar file for everything with dates, or copy the link.
You can open the planner with places and dates already filled in, for example ?places=siargao,cebu&from=2026-11-01&to=2026-11-10 at the end of the address. Links from city pages work this way.
What the plan includes
- Getting there from Manila: the arrival airport or road route from a short table we write by hand. It holds no fares or travel times, because those change too often to keep honest.
- Events during your trip: workshops, community classes and other events whose dates overlap yours, from the yoga events calendar. Each has its own calendar link.
- Retreats with dates in your trip: any retreat whose published dates overlap yours, with the price as the organiser wrote it. Retreats with flexible or recurring dates are listed separately so you can ask the organiser.
- Studios for drop-in classes: every verified studio in that place, cheapest published drop-in first, with the class time bands from its published schedule and a link to the live schedule. “Not published” means the studio has not put that detail online.
How it works and what data it uses
The planner combines three sets of records on this site. Studio facts come from the studio directory, each checked against the studio’s own website or social channels; the month of that check is shown next to each studio. Retreat dates come from organisers’ pages, the same ones on upcoming retreat dates. Events come from organisers’ public event pages.
A retreat or event is included when any of its days falls inside your trip, counting your first and last day. Multi-day events, such as a weekly series, are included if they run at any point while you are there. Past dates drop off each time the site rebuilds.
Nothing you enter leaves your browser. The calendar file is generated on your device, and the plan lives in the page address.
Tips for practising while you travel
Message a studio before you go: island studios often run fewer classes in the wet season or close for holidays. Bring a travel mat if you plan to practise on a beach or in your room. For a whole week of practice, compare dated retreats with the retreat finder, and for city stays start from the Siargao yoga page or the Cebu yoga page.

Questions
Can I plan yoga across more than one island in the trip planner?
Yes. Add as many islands or cities as you like and the plan shows each one in turn, with its studios, retreats and events for your dates. The calendar file and the printed plan cover every place you added.
Does the trip planner show live class timetables?
No. It shows the time bands each studio publishes, such as mornings or evenings, plus a link to the studio's own schedule. Timetables change week to week, so check the studio's schedule for the day you want to go.
What is in the trip planner calendar file?
One .ics file with an all-day entry for your trip, every retreat date that overlaps it and every event running during it, each with its organiser and source link. It opens in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook, and is made in your browser.
Is my trip saved anywhere?
No. Your places and dates live only in the page address, so you can bookmark or share the link. There is no account, nothing is stored on our side, and the calendar file is built on your device.
